After 31 years of living and experiencing life in America as a single, black female I finally discovered my purpose. The journey to purpose wasn't an easy one, but it was necessary. I have experienced a lot of grief and lived a lot of rebellious years. Then one day I woke up and decided to get back on track and stay there and with help from my mother and my church family, and of course God, I found my purpose in life. That is to take my life lessons and use them as a tool to help other women of color to deal with, learn and grow from life experiences the RIGHT way. From my life's journey #WomenOfPurpose was born. I have always been known to be a listening ear, give sound advice and a cheerleader to those who need it from me.

I created this page because I desire to see more female empowerment, especially in the black community. I’m anxious to see the growth that comes from bringing together women of color to uplift each other in a world that says all we do is belittle on another. â€ª#‎WomenOfPurpose‬ is here to put an end to all the negative stereotypes of black women that are depicted in main stream media & build up strong, Christian women walking hand & have IN PURPOSE!

Women Of Purpose is a place where women can feel encouraged & empowered to become better women of God and walk into their destiny. Let’s put an end to the stigma that of women of color can’t compliment and uplift each other and let’s let our light shine for the world to see.

So browse the headings, comment and share with everybody and most importantly be inspired to find your purpose, walk in it and uplift those around you.
